House on Fire

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Burnt.”

If I could grab things from my house that was on fire it would be my laptop because I have my life on it. I would also grab my pillow pet because it is a Cowboys one, and it is awesome. I would also grab my jewelry box because it was my aunts when she was younger and it means a lot to me. I would make sure that I grabbed my butterfly pillow because I made it. The last thing I would need to grab is the picture of me and a childhood friend of mine because I don’t have it anywhere else.

Honestly I would be sad that I couldn’t grab everything. All my things have value behind them and they mean a lot. I love all my video game systems because they are older ones like the Game Cube or Ps2. They are both in good condition. I’m also sad that I couldn’t grab my bed because it was a gift and passed down in my family. See the weirdest things have meaning to me.
